Create & Edit Products

Use Add Product when creating one product manually. A product only needs a name and price to save, but complete product data improves WhatsApp catalog quality and Meta sync reliability.

Required Fields

• Product name: required product title.
• Price: required. Must be zero or greater.

Core Fields

• Primary image: click the image box to pick from gallery, or use Upload to add a file.
• Description: customer-facing product text.
• SKU / Product Code: becomes the retailer ID. It is auto-generated if left blank, but setting it yourself makes imports and updates cleaner.
• Brand: optional brand name shown in product details.
• Condition: New, Refurbished, or Used.

Pricing

• Price: current selling price.
• Compare / Was: original price. If it is higher than Price, Socialone shows the discount percentage.
• Currency: INR, USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SGD, AUD, or CAD.
• On sale: enables sale price plus sale start and end dates.

Inventory & Type

• Availability: In Stock, Out of Stock, Preorder, or Discontinued.
• Stock qty: numeric stock count. Blank means unlimited.
• Product type: Physical, Digital, Service, or Subscription.
• Needs a delivery address: automatically disabled for digital, service, and subscription products.

Categories, Images & Catalogs

• Category / Subcategory: choose a matching category path, such as Apparel & Accessories > Clothing > Shirts & Tops.
• Additional images: add optional gallery images beyond the primary image.
• Catalogs: assign the product to one or more catalogs.
• Specifications and tags: add searchable internal details such as fabric, fit, ingredients, or collection tags.

Advanced / Meta Fields

• GTIN: UPC, EAN, or ISBN barcode.
• MPN: Manufacturer Part Number.
• Origin Country: useful for compliance where required.
• WA Compliance: compliance category when needed.
• Meta / Facebook Category ID: Meta taxonomy ID.
• Custom labels: label fields for Meta ad targeting.
