Product Variants

Variants create separate product records for each size, color, or material combination. WhatsApp catalogs show variants as individual products, not as one product with a variant selector.

Single Product vs Multiple Variants

• Single product: use for one product with optional attributes such as color, size, material, pattern, gender, and age group.
• Multiple variants: enter comma-separated sizes, colors, and materials. Socialone creates one product per combination.

Variant Fields

• Sizes: values like S, M, L, XL.
• Colors: values like Red, Blue, Black.
• Materials: optional values like Cotton, Linen.
• Item group ID: groups variants together for Meta.
• Variant SKU: generated variants use base SKU plus attributes, such as shirt-blue-m.

Importing Variants

• Give variants the same item_group_id.
• Use unique sku values per variant.
• Set attributes like color, size, material, and pattern directly in each row.
