Product Meta Sync

Products must belong to a Meta-linked catalog before they can be sent as WhatsApp product or catalog messages.

WhatsApp Catalog Requirement

• The catalog must be linked to a WhatsApp account.
• For a Meta catalog that needs to connect to WhatsApp, the catalog vertical must be commerce.
• Do not use a non-commerce Meta catalog for WhatsApp product or catalog messaging.
• Use Catalogs to link the catalog and show it on WhatsApp.

Sync Actions

• Push to Meta: sends selected products to the linked Meta catalog.
• Sync from Meta: pulls linked catalog/product data from Meta into Socialone.
• Show on WhatsApp / Hide from WhatsApp: controls storefront visibility for the linked catalog.
• Discontinue: marks a product discontinued and hides it from active selling.

Send Eligibility

• A product can be sent in chat only when it belongs to a catalog linked to Meta.
• The product should have a stable SKU/retailer ID, valid price, availability, and image.
• The catalog must be visible on WhatsApp if customers should browse it from the storefront.

Common Blockers

• Product cannot be sent: assign it to a Meta-linked commerce catalog.
• Catalog not visible: use Show on WhatsApp.
• Sync fails: review required product fields and the linked WhatsApp account.
