Web Store Overview

The Socialone web store is a hosted storefront that lets customers browse your products, add items to a cart, choose a delivery method, and complete checkout — all on a web page, without needing WhatsApp. Orders created through the web store appear in the same Commerce → Orders view as WhatsApp orders.

How It Works

  1. Your store is published at a Socialone subdomain such as yourstore.socialone.ai. You can also connect a custom domain.
  2. Customers browse your product catalog, filter by category, and add items to a cart.
  3. At checkout, customers enter their contact details, delivery address, and choose a delivery method.
  4. The store shows the customer a reviewed total — including delivery charge and any applicable taxes — before they confirm.
  5. If you have connected Razorpay, customers pay online via UPI, card, net banking, or wallet. Without Razorpay, customers submit a request and your team follows up to collect payment.
  6. The order lands in Commerce → Orders, where you can confirm, ship, and track it like any other order.

Products on the Web Store

Products appear on the web store based on their web visibility and commerce mode settings. By default, physical and digital products are set to visible and available for checkout. Service products default to catalog-only (browsable but not directly purchasable through the web checkout).

  • Products do not need to be in a Meta catalog to appear on the web store.
  • Stock, pricing, and availability from the product record apply directly.
  • The web store respects minimum order quantity, tiered pricing, and unit of measure settings.

Setup Sequence

  1. Add and configure your products in Products.
  2. Set up delivery and shipping settings — charge mode, minimum order value, and serviceable areas.
  3. Connect Razorpay via Settings → Integrations if you want online payments. Without it, orders use a request form flow.
  4. Go to Web Store Setup to configure your site, intake hours, and analytics.
  5. Publish the store and share your store link.
