Order Lifecycle

Order lifecycle actions depend on the current status. Socialone only shows the next actions that are valid for the order.

Order Detail Sections

  • Customer: contact name, phone, email, and View Chat when linked to a conversation.
  • Items: product name, image, brand, retailer ID, quantity, unit price, and line total.
  • Price Breakdown: subtotal, discount, tax, shipping, and total.
  • Shipping Address: customer shipping information collected from WhatsApp or saved data.
  • Appointment: appears for service bookings.
  • Status History: status changes, notes, user, and timestamp.

Status Actions

  • Pending: Confirm Order or Cancel Order.
  • Confirmed / Processing: Mark as Shipped or Cancel Order.
  • Shipped: Mark as Delivered or Cancel Order.
  • Scheduled booking: Complete Booking or Cancel Order.
  • Delivered, Completed, Cancelled, Refunded, No Show: no next status action is shown.

Payment & Shipping Fields

  • Note (optional): add context before confirming, shipping, or cancelling.
  • Tracking Number: appears when marking an order as shipped.
  • Request Payment: sends a payment request unless the order is already paid.
  • WA Pay status: shows WhatsApp Pay status when available.

Common Blockers

  • Action missing: the current status has no valid next action.
  • Payment request disabled: the order may already be paid or WhatsApp Pay may not be configured.
  • No View Chat button: the order is not linked to a conversation.
