OMS Settings

OMS Settings control how each WhatsApp account handles catalogs, shopping carts, shipping address collection, order confirmation, and payment requests.

Where to Find This

  • Go to Settings → OMS Settings.
  • Select the WhatsApp Account you want to configure.

WhatsApp Account & Commerce

  • WhatsApp Account: the account whose commerce behavior you are editing.
  • Show catalog storefront icon: displays the storefront icon and catalog browse button inside WhatsApp chat.
  • Enable shopping cart: lets customers add products to a cart and send the cart to your business as an order message.
  • Catalog feature not available: means WhatsApp Commerce is not active for the selected account.

Order Flow

  • Manual: staff reviews the order, confirms it, and requests payment manually.
  • Confirm → Pay: valid orders are auto-confirmed first, then a payment request is sent.
  • Pay → Confirm: payment is requested first, and the order is confirmed only after payment is captured.
  • Auto-collect shipping address: asks for a shipping address in WhatsApp for physical product orders.

WhatsApp Pay Fields

  • UPI VPA (Merchant Handle): your registered UPI handle shown as the payee.
  • Merchant Category Code (MCC): 4-digit business category code.
  • UPI Purpose Code: payment purpose, such as purchase or merchant payment.
  • Payment Note: optional customer-facing note, maximum 60 characters.
  • Register with Meta: creates the payment configuration on the selected WhatsApp account.
  • Importer details: business origin and address details required by Meta in some no-catalog payment cases.

Common Blockers

  • No WhatsApp account: connect an active WhatsApp account first.
  • Automated payment flow fails: add a valid UPI VPA and register with Meta.
  • Catalog controls do not apply: confirm WhatsApp Commerce is available for the account.
