Create a Post with SIA
- Go to Posts and click Create Post.
- Pick an event from SIA’s recommended list (based on your business and calendar).
- SIA pre-fills a content suggestion and a recommended publish time for that event.
- Choose a media mode: Image, Video 9:16, or Video 16:9.
- Click Ask SIA to generate captions and creatives, or switch to Manual Content.
- Select your platforms, decide Post vs Story, then schedule or publish.
Event-Based Suggestions
- SIA fetches upcoming events and prioritizes urgent ones (today/tomorrow).
- If events aren’t available, Socialone falls back to monthly default events.
- Choose Other to create a custom event prompt.
- For events with previous creatives, you can reuse past images from the same event.
Media Configuration (Images)
- Aspect ratios: 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9, plus 3:2, 2:3, 3:4, 4:3, 5:4.
- Image styles: Realistic, Premium Styled, Illustrated, Fantasy, Minimal Product, Conceptual.
- Reference images: up to 3 JPG/PNG/WEBP files (max 4MB each), optional role tags (e.g., product).
- Image model: SIA (Auto), OpenAI, Gemini, or Stability AI.
Media Configuration (Videos)
- Video modes: Vertical 9:16 or Landscape 16:9.
- Reference image: 1 JPG/PNG/WEBP file (max 4MB) with an optional role tag.
- Prompt references: up to 3 optional images (JPG/PNG/WEBP, max 4MB each).
- Video styles: UGC Talking Head, Testimonial, Cinematic Showroom, Product B‑Roll, How‑To Demo, Voiceover Montage.
- Tone options: Friendly, Premium, Educational, Energetic, Calm, Honest.
- Video model: SIA (Auto), Sora 2, Sora 2 Pro, Sora, Veo 3.1 Fast, Veo 3.1, Veo 3.0 Fast, Veo 3.0, Veo 2.0.
- Duration options vary by model (for example: 4/8/12s, 4/6/8s, or 8/15/23/30s).
Content, Selection, and Editing
- Use Ask SIA for caption ideas or refine existing text.
- Choose generated media; images can be multi‑selected and reordered.
- Edit any generated image using the built‑in editor.
- Switch to Manual Content to write captions and upload your own media.
Post vs Story Settings
- Select one or more platforms before choosing how to share.
- Choose Post, Story, Both, or Custom per platform.
- Story options only appear for platforms that support stories.
Scheduling & Preview
- Choose a date and time or publish immediately.
- Preview how the post will look on each selected platform.
Best Practices
- Start with SIA’s event suggestion, then edit the prompt to match your offer.
- Use reference images to keep style consistent across campaigns.
- Review tone and brand accuracy before publishing.
Post Agent
Post Agent is the automated path for teams that want SIA to draft posts, send them to one WhatsApp approval number, and publish only after review.
- Open Post Agent Setup for the quick setup dialog, or go to Settings → Post Agent for the full configuration page.
- You need exactly one receiving WhatsApp number for approvals. This should be the admin, owner, or social lead who is allowed to approve posts before they go live.
- Post Agent can publish to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile accounts that are connected in Socialone.
WhatsApp Approval Number
The approval number is where SIA sends each proposed post before publishing. Without this number, Post Agent cannot ask for approval.
- Country code: enter the country code without spaces, such as
91for India or1for the United States. The UI adds the+. - Phone number: enter the WhatsApp number that should receive approval messages. Do not include spaces or the country code here if you already entered it in the country code field.
- Receiving Number: after connection, this shows the active approval number. Use the edit icon to change it.
- Remove Configuration: removes the approval number and stops Post Agent from sending post ideas for review.
Schedule Fields
- Frequency: choose Daily when you want SIA to check every day, or Weekly when you only want one check per week.
- Day: appears only for Weekly schedules. It controls which weekday the agent runs.
- Time: the time of day Post Agent runs. At this time, SIA checks the content plan, generates the next post idea, and sends it for WhatsApp approval.
- Accounts: choose the social accounts Post Agent can publish to. If you leave this empty, the agent uses all eligible connected accounts.
- Active / Paused: Active means the schedule runs automatically. Paused keeps the configuration but stops new approval messages.
Advanced Fields
- Look ahead (days): how far ahead SIA should plan. For example,
2means SIA looks at the next two days of your content plan and prepares an upcoming post instead of only checking today. - Approval window: how long the WhatsApp approval request stays valid. For example,
48hours means the admin has two days to approve or reject before the request expires. - Max regenerations: how many times the admin can reject and ask SIA to create another version. For example,
2gives two retry attempts after the first draft.
Approval Flow
- At the scheduled time, SIA checks the monthly content plan and selected accounts.
- SIA generates a post draft with caption and creative direction for the eligible account.
- The draft is sent to the configured WhatsApp approval number.
- The approver can approve the post, ask SIA to regenerate it, or inspect the caption before deciding.
- If approved within the approval window, the post is published or scheduled according to the agent setup.
- If the approval expires or regeneration attempts are used up, the post does not go live automatically.
Where to Review Approvals
- Use the WhatsApp approval message for the fastest approve or regenerate action.
- Use the post approvals view inside Socialone to review pending approvals and approval history.
- Use Posts & Calendar to confirm what is scheduled after approval.
Common Blockers & Fixes
- Connect button disabled: enter both country code and phone number.
- No account options: connect at least one eligible posting account in Settings → Platforms.
- No approval message received: confirm the receiving number is a WhatsApp number, includes the correct country code, and the schedule is Active.
- Post did not publish: check whether the approval window expired, the draft was rejected, or the agent was paused.
